We've made better marble runs, but this was the first, invented by the children.They experimented, adjusted, and cooperated.

I've found that trains are easier to push and visually better at eye level. Less train wrecks from errant feet,

not compulsory, but they help. Incidentally, this boy has already
passed basic stick safety training.
Lunch is in the garden, whenever possible. Children set the table, collect dishes, and carry trays.

Deliberate jumping is good practice for accidental falling. Courage is important, (especially for teachers).

You see 5 kids on a swing. I see 35 pieces of clothing that have to be put on or taken off, 6 or more times per day. Please
put names on them. Smile.
